Tips for getting back on track after a set back.

“Sometimes the fastest way to get back in the game is to expect something from yourself again.” -Brendon Burchard

My whole routine was thrown off the past few weeks due to sickness and a pulled back muscle.

I am finally starting to feel like myself again and am getting back into my normal routine again.

Here are some tips when your routine has been thrown off and you are ready to get back to it:

#1-LISTEN TO YOUR BODY! Rest if needed. Don’t push too hard or it will get worse before it gets better. It is okay to lay in bed and rest.

#2-START SMALL. When trying to get back into a routine again, start small. Go for a walk, do some stretches and build your strength back up.

#3-NUTRITION. It can be hard somedays to stick to your nutrition, especially when sick. Try to stick to your nutrition as much as possible and stay hydrated.

#4-SET A GOAL. Set a goal for yourself. It will feel so good when you meet that goal. Some examples include: workout 3 days a week for 20-30 minutes a day, go for a walk 3 times a week, drink a certain number of ounces of water a day, eat an extra serving of veggies 3 times a week.
