I hate stepping on it every week. I hate not seeing what I want to see. When I step on it, I only see what choices I made the previous week, good or bad. Logically, I know that it is just a tool and only one way to measure my fitness journey. But I still hate it. When I first started my fitness journey, I had never owned or used a scale (except at the doctors). I had to go buy one so I could start keeping track of my weight and where I was in my journey. Some weeks are better than others. I am working hard on changing my mindset about the scale and seeing it just as one way to measure success in my fitness journey.
