Date your spouse.

Since our youngest is almost 2 and it is easier to leave him with his teenage brother and sister, me and Rob have been trying to go on dates at least once a month (or every other month). It helps us so much when we can do something just the 2 of us.

Sometimes our dates are going out to a movie or to eat. Sometimes it is picking up dinner and watching a movie in the bedroom while our teens babysit in the living room.

Get creative. Maybe you don’t have older kids yet, but maybe you could do a date night exchange with a friend. They could watch your kids while you and your partner go on a date and visa versa.

Date your spouse. Connect again. Your marriage will thank you and so will your kids. 🙂
